Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use myeightmarks.com or buy an Eight Marks report or subscription. Eight Marks is operated by Seung Min Lee, based in the Republic of Korea. By using the site or making a purchase, you agree to these terms.
For entertainment
Eight Marks readings are based on a traditional Korean birth chart system and are provided for entertainment and self-reflection. They are not medical, legal, financial, psychological or other professional advice, and they don't predict the future. Please don't make important decisions based only on a reading.
Who can buy
You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to make a purchase.
Purchases and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payments, taxes, returns and customer service questions about billing. Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Prices are shown in US dollars and may include sales tax where required.
What you get
Reports are digital products created automatically from the birth details you give us and delivered by email, usually within a few minutes. Please check your details before you pay. If you entered something wrong, email us and we'll send a corrected report.
Subscriptions
- Eight Marks Monthly renews automatically every month, and the yearly plan every year, at the price shown when you signed up, until you cancel.
- If your plan starts with a free trial, you won't be charged until the trial ends. We'll email you before your first charge.
- You can cancel anytime from the link in your receipt email. Cancelling stops future charges. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If we ever change the price, we'll tell you by email before it applies to you.
Refunds
See our Refund Policy. In short, you can get a full refund within 7 days.
Your content and ours
Your reports are for your personal use. You may share them with friends and family. Please don't resell them. The site, design, text and report templates belong to Eight Marks.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, no automated scraping, and no entering other people's details without their permission.
Limits of liability
The site and readings are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes don't apply to purchases you've already made.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without taking away any protection you have under the consumer laws of the place you live.
